EVVO Clear hydrodynamic cavitation water treatment
EVVO Clear is a passive inline water-treatment device that uses hydrodynamic cavitation within a swimming pool or spa circulation system. It operates alongside the existing sanitisation system and requires no electricity or moving parts.

What is hydrodynamic cavitation?
When water is forced through a narrow passage, its pressure drops and millions of tiny vapour bubbles form. As the pressure recovers, they collapse – releasing small bursts of energy into the water.
Inside EVVO Clear this happens continuously, every time the water passes through. The energy breaks down organic contaminants, helps the sanitiser work more effectively and changes how minerals behave – using nothing but the flow from your existing pump.
What it does in the pool
Less chlorine needed
The sanitiser works more effectively, so less is needed to hold the same level.
Lower chloramines
Less of the compounds behind the typical “chlorine smell”.
Less evaporation
Less water lost, less topping up, and less dilution of chemicals.
Crystal-clear water
Fine particles clump together, so the filter catches them.
More stable pH
Fewer swings, so fewer manual corrections.
Less scale and staining
Reduces scale on heaters, pipes and surfaces, and helps prevent metal staining.
EVVO Clear also reduces microbial load and biofilm in the circulation system, working alongside your sanitiser – never instead of it.
Results measured in independent laboratory testing
Tested by an accredited US laboratory in side-by-side pools, where the only difference was the device. Chlorine reduction was tested to NSF/ANSI 50-2019. Full reports are available to qualified partners.
41%
Less chlorine used
To hold the same free chlorine level over seven days.
36%
Lower chloramines
Average combined chlorine 0.37 ppm against 0.57 ppm in the control pool.
23%
Less evaporation
278 gallons lost against 363 gallons over nine days.
Performance shown is based on controlled testing. Actual results can vary according to water chemistry, bather load, climate, system design and operating conditions.
Installed in about 30 minutes
EVVO Clear goes in horizontally as the last step before the water returns to the pool, after the filter. It fits existing systems and new builds.
- Cut into the return lineAfter the filter, as the last component before the water returns to the pool.
- Fit EVVO Clear with its unionsFor 50 mm, 63 mm and 2″ pipework.
- Restore the flowIt works immediately – no power, no programming, no commissioning.
Sizes from private pools to commercial facilities
All four pool models are available to order. Larger models keep the same low pressure drop, so EVVO Clear does not burden the pump.
| Model | Pipe size | Max. flow | Max. pressure drop |
|---|---|---|---|
| EVVO Clear 2″ | 2″ / 50–63 mm | 16 m³/h (72 GPM) | 0.18 bar (2.6 psi) |
| EVVO Clear 3″ | 3″ | 36 m³/h (161 GPM) | 0.18 bar (2.6 psi) |
| EVVO Clear 4″ | 4″ | 65 m³/h (287 GPM) | 0.18 bar (2.6 psi) |
| EVVO Clear 6″ | 6″ | 146 m³/h (645 GPM) | 0.18 bar (2.6 psi) |

No electricity
Fully passive, driven by the existing flow.
No moving parts
Nothing to wear out or service.
No cartridges
Nothing to replace, refill or restock.
Every pool type
Chlorine and salt pools; concrete, liner, fibreglass and stainless steel.
Good to know. EVVO Clear is a physical water-treatment enhancement – not a sanitiser and not a water softener. Keep pH, alkalinity and sanitiser within normal ranges; EVVO Clear helps them work better. Because the filter catches more fine particles, it may need cleaning a little more often at first.
EVVO Clear questions
Does EVVO Clear replace chlorine?
No. EVVO Clear is designed to work alongside the existing sanitisation system. Independent testing has shown reduced chlorine demand under controlled test conditions.
Does EVVO Clear need electricity?
No. It has no electricity, no electronics, no moving parts and no replacement cartridges. It works from the existing water flow.
Where is it installed?
Horizontally in the return line after the filter, as the last component before the water goes back to the pool.
Does it work with salt pools?
Yes. EVVO Clear works in all pool types – chlorine and salt pools, and concrete, liner, fibreglass and stainless steel pools.
Can I use EVVO Clear without EVVO Sense?
Yes. They are independent product families. EVVO Sense can show the effect of EVVO Clear on the water, but it is not required.
