EVVO Clear for hot tubs and swim spas

EVVO Clear brings hydrodynamic cavitation to hot tubs, swim spas and other warm-water systems. Installed inline in the circulation pipework, it helps reduce scale on heaters, pumps and pipes and supports the sanitiser – without electricity or moving parts.

Why warm water is harder on equipment

Heat makes calcium come out of the water faster, and it settles where it hurts most: on the heater element. Warm water also suits biofilm in the pipework.

Scale on the heater

An insulating layer makes the heater work harder, run hotter and fail sooner.

Wear on pumps and seals

Hard mineral deposits on impellers and seals cause vibration and leaks.

Biofilm in the pipes

Hidden layers in the plumbing use up sanitiser and affect water quality.

Softer crystals, cleaner surfaces

EVVO Clear does not remove calcium from the water. It changes how calcium crystallises. Instead of hard, sharp crystals that bond to hot surfaces, cavitation favours smaller, rounded particles that stay in the water and are caught by the filter.

At the same time, the cavitation process disrupts biofilm and breaks down organic material, helping the sanitiser do its job.

Where the effect is greatest

One EVVO Clear spa model fits all hot tubs and swim spas, supplied with 1.5″ and 2″ fittings.

Heater elements

Less insulating scale keeps heat transfer efficient and helps the heater last longer. This is where the biggest gain is.

Pumps and seals

Fewer hard deposits on impellers and seals means smoother running and less wear, especially in hard-water areas.

Filters and plumbing

Less build-up on pipe walls. The filter catches more fine particles, so clean it on a regular schedule.

For hot tub dealers and service companies

  • A clear upsell in hard-water areas, where heater problems are common
  • One spa model fits all hot tubs and swim spas, with 1.5″ and 2″ fittings – no sizing needed
  • Fit it at delivery, or retrofit at a service visit
  • No power, no programming and nothing for the owner to maintain
  • Pairs well with EVVO Sense – but works on its own

Realistic expectations. EVVO Clear is a physical enhancement, not a water softener and not a sanitiser. If pH and alkalinity are not controlled, or the water is extremely hard, scale can still form. With balanced water, the gains are greatest at the heater, followed by pumps and plumbing.

EVVO Clear for hot tubs: questions

Does EVVO Clear soften the water?

No. It does not remove calcium. It changes how calcium crystallises, so less of it sticks to heaters and pipes and more is caught by the filter.

Can I still use my normal sanitiser?

Yes – and you should. EVVO Clear works alongside the sanitiser and helps it work more effectively.

Can it be fitted to an existing hot tub?

Yes. One EVVO Clear spa model fits all hot tubs and swim spas. It comes with 1.5″ and 2″ fittings and installs inline in the circulation pipework, at delivery or during a service visit.

Does it work in swim spas?

Yes. Swim spas use the same kind of pumps and flow as hot tubs, so the same EVVO Clear spa model does the job.

Does it need electricity?

No. EVVO Clear is fully passive and driven by the water flow from the existing pump.
